This fanlisting, P-p-popples P-p-party, is for the TV show, "The Popples." This 30-minute cartoon, based on a series of toys, ran for 43 episodes between 1985 and 1987.

Popples were fuzzy magical creatures who could pull anything of any size out of their pouches. They could also flip into their pouches to become balls of fur in order to hide or bounce around. Their name comes from the popping noises they made when they sprang back from a ball to their normal state.

The Popples only showed themselves to two special children, Bonnie and Billy, whose attic they lived in. Later on, the Baby and Punk Rocker Popples would live with Bonnie and Billy's neighbours.

Each episode's plotline was basically that the Popples followed the children somewhere, created chaos, and then had to clean up the mess they made before any adults noticed. Unlike most cartoons and shows in general, there were no villians at all.

Popples repeated the "p" sound when saying words beginning with a "p" which is why this fanlisting is called P-p-popples P-p-party!
